Doe mee aan een bijzonder project om het Suryoyo-erfgoed te bewaren voor de volgende generaties!

De voorbereidingen zijn gestart voor de oprichting van het Suryoyo Archief- en Documentatiecentrum in het klooster van Mor Ephrem. Met jouw hulp verzamelen en bewaren we foto’s, documenten en persoonlijke verhalen (oral history) uit Tur Abdin en de diaspora.

Dit project is een samenwerking van lidorganisaties van het Nederlandse Netwerk; het klooster van Mor Ephrem, de Suryoyo Media Foundation, de Be Shao Syriac Foundation en de Arab-West Foundation, met steun van de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed.

Wat kun jij doen?

Heb je foto’s, boeken of documenten die niet verloren mogen gaan?

Ben je ouder en wil je jouw levensverhaal delen in een interview?

Ben je jong en wil je leren interviewen via een opleiding?

Join us in a special project to preserve Suryoyo heritage for future generations!

Preparations have begun for the establishment of the Suryoyo Archive and Documentation Centre at the Mor Ephrem Monastery. With your help, we will collect and preserve photographs, documents, and personal stories (oral history) from Tur Abdin and the diaspora.

This project is a collaboration between member organisations of the Dutch Network: the Mor Ephrem Monastery, Suryoyo Media Foundation, Be Shao Syriac Foundation, and Arab-West Foundation, with support from the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands.

What can you do?

Do you have photographs, books, or documents that should not be lost?

Are you older and would like to share your life story in an interview?

Are you young and interested in learning how to conduct interviews through training?
