Support Us

There are many ways in which individuals, organisations and businesses can support the Dutch civil society network of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF-NL).

1. Become an organisational network member

Civil society organisations—including NGOs and socially engaged businesses—that support intercultural dialogue and cooperation are invited to join our network. Membership is free and provides access to contacts, activities, partnership opportunities and information about funding programmes.

Every new member also strengthens our collective voice. The larger and more diverse our network becomes, the more effectively we can promote dialogue and cooperation in the Netherlands and throughout the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Organisational members can also list their volunteering opportunities on our website.

2. Become an individual network member

Individuals who support our objectives are also invited to join the network. Individual membership is free and provides many of the same opportunities as organisational membership. Individual members do not, however, have voting rights in the periodic elections for the Head of Network.

3. Follow and promote us on social media

Follow ALF-NL on social media and help us reach a wider audience by liking, commenting on and sharing our posts. You can also invite others to follow us and circulate information about our events, projects and opportunities through your own networks.

4. Become a volunteer

Volunteer with us in an area that matches your interests, knowledge and experience. Possible areas include event organisation, communications, social media, fundraising, photography, video production, research and administrative support.

Volunteering can help young people gain valuable experience and expand their professional networks. More experienced volunteers can share their knowledge, mentor young people and help strengthen the organisations within our network.

With their permission, active volunteers will be introduced on our website. Volunteers who make a substantial and successful contribution of at least 160 hours may request a letter of recommendation describing the work they performed.

5. Provide corporate support

Businesses can support our work through financial contributions, employee volunteering, professional expertise, sponsorship or corporate social responsibility partnerships.
We would be pleased to discuss a form of cooperation that reflects your company’s values, expertise and interests.

6. Contribute in kind

You can support our activities by providing goods, services or facilities. Examples include:

  • Meeting or event space
  • Technical equipment
  • Printing and design services
  • Transport
  • Photography or video production
  • Translation and interpretation
  • Meals, refreshments or accommodation
  • Professional advice or training

7. Attend and promote our activities

Participate in our public events, dialogues, workshops and exhibitions. Your presence and contribution help create meaningful exchanges. You can also support us by bringing guests, recommending speakers or promoting our activities within your community and networks.

8. Share your knowledge and contacts

You can contribute as a speaker, trainer, moderator, mentor or adviser. Introductions to civil society organisations, educational institutions, municipalities, cultural organisations, funders and potential partners are also extremely valuable.

9. Make a donation

The funding available from the Anna Lindh Foundation for activities in the Netherlands is limited. Donations enable us to organise more dialogue activities, involve young people, support volunteers, develop new projects and make our activities accessible to a wider audience.
Until ALF-NL has its own donation page, donations can be made through the Arab-West Foundation, which serves as Head of the Dutch network.

This link will later be replaced by a dedicated ALF-NL donation page.

Support artists and photographers in Gaza

In June 2026, we organised the exhibition Israel/Palestine: Pain and Hope. This exhibition led to an ongoing initiative through which people can support artists and photographers in Gaza who are working under extremely difficult circumstances. Their work documents lived experiences and preserves stories that might otherwise remain unseen.

You can support them by viewing and sharing their work, commissioning or purchasing their work where possible, inviting them to contribute online to exhibitions and programmes, or donating through verified support initiatives.

This later will need to be replaced by a link to ALF-NL donation page.
