Voortbouwend op het momentum en de impact van ALForum 2025, lanceert de Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) AGORALF als een nieuw jaarlijks forum gewijd aan dialoog, verbinding tussen mensen en culturele expressie in de Euro-Mediterrane regio.
Hoewel AgorALF qua omvang compacter is dan ALForum, is het ontworpen om hetzelfde niveau van impact en uitwisseling te bieden. De eerste editie, AGORALF 2026, vindt plaats op 27–28 april 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus, en zal naar verwachting meer dan 400 deelnemers uit de hele regio samenbrengen.
Een ruimte voor samenwerking en co-creatie
Alle 43 nationale ALF-netwerken krijgen de mogelijkheid om actief deel te nemen en activiteiten te organiseren binnen AgorALF 2026. Verschillende netwerken verkennen al gezamenlijke initiatieven, waaronder gesprekken tussen de Nederlandse en Duitse netwerken over het ontwikkelen van een gezamenlijke activiteit. Dit onderstreept de sterke focus van het forum op grensoverschrijdende samenwerking.
Oproep voor Voorstellen: Interactieve & Culturele Activiteiten
Parallel hieraan heeft de Anna Lindh Foundation de AGORALF 2026 Call for Proposals gelanceerd. Maatschappelijke organisaties, culturele groepen en creatieve kunstenaars worden uitgenodigd om activiteiten te ontwerpen en uit te voeren tijdens het forum.
ALF is op zoek naar voorstellen voor twee soorten activiteiten:
Netwerkactiviteiten (45 minuten, binnen), gericht op betekenisvolle interactie en uitwisseling
Culturele en artistieke activiteiten (45–60 minuten, binnen of buiten), die de kracht van kunst en cultuur laten zien bij het bevorderen van inclusie, sociale cohesie en wederzijds begrip
Geselecteerde voorstellen ontvangen financiële ondersteuning van maximaal €3.000 (kleinschalig) tot €6.000 (middelgroot), voor in aanmerking komende kosten zoals reizen, accommodatie, lokaal vervoer, vergoedingen, materialen en productiekosten.

AgorALF 2026 Announced: Call for Interactive & Cultural Activities Now Open
Building on the momentum and impact of ALForum 2025, the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) is launching AGORALF as a new annual forum dedicated to dialogue, people-to-people connections and cultural expression across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
While more compact in scale than ALForum, AgorALF is designed to deliver the same level of impact and exchange. The first edition, AGORALF 2026, will take place on 27–28 April 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus, and is expected to bring together over 400 participants from across the region.
A space for collaboration and co-creation
All 43 national ALF networks will have the opportunity to actively participate and organise activities within AgorALF 2026. Several networks are already exploring joint initiatives, including discussions between the Dutch and German networks on developing a shared activity, highlighting the forum’s strong focus on cross-border collaboration.
Call for Proposals: Interactive & Cultural Activities
In parallel, the Anna Lindh Foundation has launched the AGORALF 2026 Call for Proposals, inviting civil society organisations, cultural groups and creative artists to design and implement activities during the forum.
ALF is seeking proposals for two types of activities:
Networking activities (45 minutes, indoor), fostering meaningful interaction and exchange
Cultural and artistic activities (45–60 minutes, indoor or outdoor), showcasing the power of arts and culture in promoting inclusion, social cohesion and mutual understanding
Selected proposals will receive financial support ranging from up to €3,000 (small-scale) to €6,000 (medium-scale), covering eligible costs such as travel, accommodation, local transport, fees, materials and production expenses.
