Op 28 april 2025 kwam het Nederlandse netwerk van de Anna Lindh Foundation samen in het vredige Mor Ephrem Klooster in Glanerbrug, Twente voor onze jaarlijkse Nationale Netwerk Bijeenkomst. Deze bijeenkomst bracht 31 deelnemers van 12 lidorganisaties bijeen in een inspirerende en symbolische setting.
De dag begon met een welkomswoord van Romana Moussa, Internationale Netwerkcoordinator, vervoglens werd de groep uitnodigd in de serene omgeving van het klooster door Aartsbisschop Polycarpus. Zijn gastvrijheid gaf de bijeenkomst meteen een speciale en betekenisvolle start.
Tijdens de vergadering werd er een breed scala aan onderwerpen besproken, waaronder cultureel erfgoed en duurzaamheid. Er waren strategische updates, informele netwerkmogelijkheden en twee parallelle sessies. De eerste sessie ging over het brainstormen van ideeën voor erfgoedprojecten die in lijn zijn met de Faro Conventie, terwijl de tweede sessie zich richtte op duurzaamheid en innovatieve oplossingen op grassroots-niveau.
Belangrijke uitkomsten van de dag:
- De lancering van een duurzaamheidswerkgroep binnen het netwerk, waarmee we de basis leggen voor structurele samenwerking op het gebied van milieu en duurzaamheid.
- Stappen richting het vormen van een formeel netwerk als vereniging, wat ons in staat zal stellen om ANBI-status aan te vragen en meer samenwerkingsmogelijkheden te verkennen.
- Een gezamenlijke toewijding aan inclusieve, interculturele samenwerking, met de ambitie om in de aanloop naar het ALForum 2025 in Albanië actief samen te werken aan initiatieven die onze gedeelde waarden weerspiegelen.
De sessies en discussies boden een waardevolle gelegenheid om ideeën uit te wisselen, nieuwe partnerschappen aan te gaan en gezamenlijk initiatieven voor de toekomst vorm te geven. Het Nederlandse netwerk van de Anna Lindh Foundation blijft zich ontwikkelen, en de vergadering was een belangrijke stap in het versterken van ons gezamenlijke werk op het gebied van cultuur, erfgoed en duurzaamheid.
We willen iedereen bedanken die heeft bijgedragen aan deze productieve dag en kijken ernaar uit om samen verder te bouwen aan een netwerk dat zowel nationaal als internationaal impact kan maken.

🌍 National Network Meeting – Twente – April 28, 2025
On April 28, 2025, the Dutch network of the Anna Lindh Foundation gathered at the peaceful Mor Ephrem Monastery in Glanerbrug, Twente, for our annual National Network Meeting. The gathering brought together 31 participants from 12 member organisations in an inspiring and symbolic setting.
The day began with a welcome address by Romana Moussa, International Network Coordinator, followed by an invitation to the group to gather in the serene surroundings of the monastery from Archbishop Polycarpus. His hospitality immediately gave the meeting a special and meaningful start.
During the meeting, a wide range of topics were discussed, including cultural heritage and sustainability. There were strategic updates, informal networking opportunities, and two parallel sessions. The first session focused on brainstorming ideas for heritage projects aligned with the Faro Convention, while the second session focused on sustainability and innovative grassroots-level solutions.
Key outcomes of the day:
- The launch of a sustainability working group within the network, laying the foundation for structural cooperation in the areas of environment and sustainability.
- Steps towards forming a formal network as an association, which will enable us to apply for ANBI status and explore more opportunities for cooperation.
- A shared commitment to inclusive, intercultural cooperation, with the ambition to actively work together on initiatives reflecting our shared values in the lead-up to ALForum 2025 in Albania.
The sessions and discussions provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, establish new partnerships, and jointly shape initiatives for the future. The Dutch network of the Anna Lindh Foundation continues to develop, and the meeting was an important step in strengthening our collective work in the areas of culture, heritage, and sustainability.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this productive day and look forward to continuing to build a network that can make an impact both nationally and internationally.
