Eid Mubarak & spannende evenementen in het vooruitzicht voor ons netwerk

Ramadan is bijna ten einde. Namens de Arab-West Foundation & de Anna Lindh Foundation wensen wij jullie allemaal een gezegende Eid.
Eid Mubarak! 🌙✨
In de komende weken staan er twee belangrijke evenementen gepland voor het Nederlandse netwerk van de Anna Lindh Foundation.
Het eerste is de Nationale Netwerkbijeenkomst, voorlopig gepland tussen 14 april en 2 mei 2025. Deze bijeenkomst zal zich richten op de voorbereiding van het ALForum, het werven van nieuwe leden en het versterken van de impact van het netwerk.
Als onderdeel van de aanpak van de Anna Lindh Foundation wordt aangemoedigd om nationale netwerkbijeenkomsten buiten de gebruikelijke stedelijke centra te organiseren, om lokale bevolkingen te betrekken, met name in regio’s zoals het noorden of zuiden van het land. Daarom hebben we gekozen voor Twente als locatie. Daarnaast heeft Kees contacten met de Syrisch-Orthodoxe bisschop in de regio, die het evenement kan ondersteunen, onder meer met de locatie en logistiek.
De tweede bijeenkomst is de Governance Board Meeting, gepland op 17 april 2025, met de bestuursleden. Deze bijeenkomst biedt de gelegenheid om de voortgang van verschillende initiatieven te bespreken, aankomende activiteiten te bespreken en strategisch te plannen voor de volgende fase van de ontwikkeling van het netwerk, waaronder het verkennen van financieringsmogelijkheden. We zullen het netwerk te zijner tijd informeren over de inzichten, bevindingen en resultaten van deze bijeenkomst, zodat iedereen op de hoogte blijft van de laatste ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden.
Tot slot willen we ook vier nieuwe leden van harte welkom heten in ons netwerk: Stichting Sufi Trail, Friends of Rumi and Khorasan Saints, SPIRIT, The Hague Academy for Local Governance, en Challenge to Invention BV.

Eid Mubarak & Exciting Events Ahead for Our Network
Ramadan is almost coming to an end. On behalf of the Arab-West Foundation & the Anna Lindh Foundation, we wish you all a blessed Eid.

In the coming weeks, we have two important upcoming events for the Dutch Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation.
The first is the National Network Meeting, tentatively scheduled between April 14 and May 2, 2025. This meeting will focus on preparing for the ALForum, member recruitment, and strengthening the network’s impact.
As part of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s approach, national network meetings are encouraged to be held outside the usual urban centres to involve local populations, particularly in regions such as the north or south of the country. Therefore, we’ve chosen Twente as the location. Additionally, Kees has ties with the Syrian Orthodox Bishop in the area, who can support the event, including assistance with the venue and logistics.
The second meeting is the Governance Board Meeting scheduled for April 17, 2025, between the members of the board. This session will provide an opportunity to review progress on various initiatives, discuss upcoming activities, and plan strategically for the next phase of the network’s development, including exploring funding opportunities. We will inform the network about the insights, findings, and outcomes from this meeting in due course, ensuring that everyone stays updated on the latest developments and opportunities.
